BloodHound is basically a very nice Torrent search engine with the ease of a DirectConnect/dc++ look-alike interface.
It has a MDI (Multiple Document Interface) allowing simultaneous (multi-threaded) searches for multiple torrent pages with one button click.
Screenshot from old bloodhound 1.x engine;
There was allot of stuff I wasn’t very happy with in the original 1.x engine, so now I’m working on a much improved 2.x.
And that is what this forum is all about, here we will discuss, test, release beta versions of a powerful new torrent search engine, that i hope, some day... will change the Torrent community for ever
So why use BloodHound?, simple;
It will always be faster
Other webpage-based solutions that search multiple torrent pages do this in a single thread; page by page manner, and must finish one page before sending request to the next, bloodhound however sends and process several request at the same time.
Multiple searches, different windows!
Due to its multi-threaded nature, you can do a search, open a new window and send a nother request on a different category and it will handle all, fast, smoth and simple
Torrent parsers are open source script!
In BloodHound 1.x all the parsers (torrent page decoders) was closed source, written as DLL's and I was the only one ho could modify and fix bugs. (I have never liked sharing my source).
In 2.x however, all parsers are open-source script, you can always open any parser (the one for Torrentspy.com for example) and modify it, tweak it or simply write your own.
Get your downloading started fast and simple!
Download all your .Torrent files from inside BloodHound with a single click, and when finished; bloodhound can start your favourite Torrent client (uTorrent for example) and start the download instantly.
